I am often asked, “David, you’ve tried hundreds of task and work chairs, which one is your favorite? What do you sit in?”
Well, the answer is that right now I am working at a sit-to-stand electric height adjustable desk, paired with a perching stool. But, if I were to choose my favorite task chair, undoubtedly I would choose the HON NUCLEUS chair for comfort, style and value.
Most importantly, the HON NUCLEUS chair passes the “tushy test.” The chair just sits great. The chair has a seat suspension that is unique to the Nucleus chair. Inside the NUCLEUS seat, HON stretches a mesh material over a metal frame, and then over-molds it with foam. Once upholstered, this ultra slim seat provides an initial cush and lasting, supportive comfort. You never “bottom out” on a hard seat pan and you benefit from both mesh and foam.
Adjustability- the chair is fully adjustable with a seat depth adjustment, adjustable arms, tilt tension and tilt lock and of course pneumatic height adjustment. So, the chair will likely fit your body once adjusted. For me, this is the best ergonomic chair on the market.
Value- the Nucleus chair is backed by HON’s full lifetime warranty and is best in class for chairs under $500.
